Chicken Curry

1 onion, diced
1 stick of butter
2 Tbs. flour
2 tsp. curry powder
1 cup milk
1/8 tsp. salt
1 boiled and deboned chicken
1 1/2 cup rice
1 can beef consomme
1 cup chicken broth
apples
pineapple tidbits
raisins
chopped pecans
shredded coconut

Cook onion in butter until tender.  Rub curry powder into onion.  Add chicken broth, dahs of salt, and flour.  Gradually add milk.  Add chicken and simmer over low heat for about 15 minutes or until it thickens.

After starting the onion, start cooking the rice.  Cook the rice in 1 can of beef consomme and 1 cup of water.  This takes about 20 minutes.

Serve curried chicken over rice.  Top with chopped nuts, pineapple, apples, raisins, and coconut.
