Pecan Pie

2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
4 Tbs. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup pecans
2 tsp. cornmeal

Mix sugar, cornmeal, eggs, butter, vanilla, and 1/2 cup chopped pecans.  Pour into a pie shell and spread the other half of the pecan halves on top.  Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

I'm not sure about whether or not you should bake the pie shell first.  Have fun figuring it out.
